This ghastly image greeted me underneath. I knew something was wrong, but I had no idea the extent of the leakage. I got a few guys to help me push the car into a parking spot and went home to research an oil pan. Later that week, I bought one from a junkyard. A friend was going to help me swap it out on Friday, but in the afternoon my stomach staged a coup d'etat. Finally, late Sunday night we finished the Job.
My mind flashed back to the drive to e-linc on Tuesday. We had not gone far before I noticed a gray shape on the road. "Was that a rock?" I laughed as I remembered a road sign I had seen in Mexico. "It said, 'No Deje Piedras Sobre el Pavimento' - Don't leave rocks on the road. Apparently that is a problem down there."
Little did I know.
