Eternally Rich

Welcome.

Unbeknownst to many, there are still a significant number of people groups who live in remote places. Tribal groups often have their very own language and culture, with a language that has never been put into writing. Although they are intelligent, they lack the cumulative knowledge of civilization, and live in a way we would call primitive. It is hard work to just stay alive in the jungle. There are no grocery stores, cars, or electric appliances. Without proper healthcare, their standard of living would be considered repulsive to us. Health issues that seem small to us can be fatal to someone who does not have the proper medicine.
Living conditions are not sanitary by our definition. But the things that we attribute to natural causes, such as sickness and weather, they see through very different eyes. To them, spirits are responsible for the things that happen. Good things mean they gained favor with the spirits and bad occurrences mean they upset the spirits by breaking a taboo. Thus, they live in constant fear of the spirits.
However, the saddest thing of all is not their poor living conditions or fear, but their isolation from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many groups have never had the opportunity to hear the gospel. Most estimates are in the range of 2,000 language groups. With this staggering number, God challenged me about my role in reaching the world with the gospel. I primarily created this site to keep you updated on my journey toward becoming a tribal missionary. In regard to world missions, we have 3 options: go, send, or disobey.
