It is awesome to watch God work in His own ways. In a previous post, I mentioned a kid I prayed with who had come forward during an altar call. Last week I was talking to him in the lobby, but he didn't want to go into the auditorium. "I don't get to talk about things I like to talk about very often. My parents are usually too busy and I don't have a lot of friends." His favorite subject is Abraham Lincoln. So we spent the next hour and a half talking about history, God, and the Bible. It was the most in-depth and meaningful conversation I've ever had with a kid at youth group. I posed various questions and encouraged him to base his thinking on the Word of God. Pray that God uses those questions to spark curiosity in his mind so he will read the short book I gave him.
Thanks for your prayers!
